Membership in Land-O-Lakes requires a one year  probationary period during which you are ineligible to hold office on the Board of Directors. You are encouraged to attend regular monthly board/ membership meetings which are held on the last monday of each month except October. Notice will be given if a change of date is required. The club is maintained by membership participation at regular scheduled  work parties and by the membership maintaining one or more field targets during the summer shoot schedule.

Members are expected to abide by and help maintain the following rules.

1. Abide by all State and Federal laws.
2. Never use a bow in a unlawful or unsportsman like manner.
3. Be very careful on the range so as to not cause accidents.
4. Practice proper etiquette with your bow, your speech and actions.
5. Protect club property and equipment.
6. Unless your health forbids, you will try to work a minimum of twenty five hours (each family membership) helping at regular work parties and club shoots. See membership application for more info.
7. Do all in your power to uphold the reputation of Land-O-Lakes Bowmen Inc.
8. You will not operate or allow a motorcycle to be operated beyond the club parking lot.
9. You will not ride a horse or allow one to be ridden beyond the club parking lot.
10. You will not operate a snowmobile on club property, unless adequate snow cover, and than only in regular shooting lanes.
11. If club rules are violated in a flagrant manner, per club constitution, the board of directors can prefer charges and, if found guilty membership and rights can be lost.
12. New members must be present at the board meeting that their application is being considered for approval.
13. Hunting is allowed on the club property with the written permission of the board of directors.

Club dues includes all children in the family to the age of 18, at the age of 18 he/she is encouraged to apply for a seperate membership. Exceptions are if children are still in school or in the military.
We offer two membership types.

1. Distant membership, 75 miles $20.00 + $25.00 initation fee = $45.00.

2. New membership, $100.00 + $25.00 initiation fee + 25 work hours = $125.00.
